Hack of German hosting provider ProSite in retaliation for hosting the website of far-right COVID conspiracy theorist Attila Hildmann by Anonymous Germany, as part of Operation Tinfoil.
Explanation of the Hack
ProSite is a shared web hosting provider. A vulnerable Joomla installation was found hosted by another ProSite customer. The hackers used it to pop a shell on the server, root it, dump databases, gain access to internal ProSite systems and deface Attila's site.
